FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY PATIENTS

WHAT IS A PRIVATE DOCTOR?

As a private dermatologist in 1030 Vienna, I do not have a contract with the usual health insurance funds. This means you will initially pay the costs of your doctor's visit yourself. Afterwards, you can submit the invoice to your health insurance for reimbursement (the non  private state insurance usually covers only a portion of the costs, the private insurance usually covers all costs).

ARE THERE WAITING TIMES?

As a private practitioner, I can manage my schedule and patient appointments, which generally results in little to no waiting time in my dermatology practice in 1030 Vienna.

We strive to address all urgent requests promptly. Please call us and ask for an urgent appointment; we will do our best to see and treat you as soon as possible. In emergencies, please contact the Dermatology Department of the Landstraße Clinic.

WHAT IF I CAN'T ATTEND MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT?

This is usually not a problem. I kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance (via email or phone) so we can accommodate other patients.
